Backup / restore and activation question?

First of all, I am new with Impulse and my first game is Demigod from Impulse. I downloaded the game and archived it. It created "Demigod1.00.091_05.23.2009.impulse" file. My question is; this file is enough to restore the archive? Also I am using Acronis TrueImage to backup and restore my OS (I don't make new install). I heard Stardock is using activation for games and applications (and there is a limit for that, I don't want to get in the trouble with activation limit is reached) and I am restoring my OS nearly a month, if I backup sig.bin bile in Stardock\Demigod folder and copy file to same location after the Acronis restore process of OS I don't need to activate the game right? Because OS is the same, only restored. I hope you can answer these questions, thank you.

It is almost enough to restore the archive: It still has to be activated when restored/installed. :|

But I will backup sig.bin file too. It is the activation file right, when I restore the archive I will copy sig.bin file to Stardock\Demigod and I don't need to activate the game again don't I? Because OS is the same and from what I read activation file is looking for OS not hardware. :) Anyway I will try when the time comes, thanks for reply.

I tried yesterday and it works. I didn't need to activate the game it is working with old sig.bin file now. This is because OS is the same only restored from Backup with Acronis True Image. That is great. :)
