I had heard about this previously (although perhaps not previous to you writing it). I'm not entirely sure what to make of it.

Well, some of it was stupid, some of it was offensive, and some of it was pretty darn creative. Freedom of speech, freedom of expression, what can I say? I wouldn't do something like that but if it makes them feel like they're making some kind of difference in the world by spelling out "sorry" in Skittles, then let 'em have it.

I'm all for that, and you're right, some of them were pretty creative.  But, when middle america sees stuff like this...well, just as democrats think that all republicans are bible bashing red-necks, republicans think that democrats are like the people depicted on that site.
