Download takes too long

Hi,

I just bought Demigod, but unfortunalety I have my first problem:

I'm downloading for many hours but I still don't have about 10%.

I have a 3000 kbit connection, and the download speed is by ca. 200 kb/s.

But it seems like Impulse download a few kb and then stops and go on after 5 seconds or so.

I don't wanna to download for two days!

Hope, there is a problem, who can be solved! Pls, help me!

Can you please follow this link in Internet Explorer:

http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/enumerate_startup.bat

save the file, run it, and attach the log file (named startup.log) it generates on the desktop to an e-mail to [email protected]  

Can you also please go to Start->Run(or Start Search in Vista) and type 'dxdiag' and hit enter. Once everything loads, please click the "Save all information" button and attach the output file (called DxDiag.txt) in the same email.

Problem is solved, I let my computer download the whole night, and yeah the download had already finished.

But, I have a second problem now:

It's no problem to play the game, but there is still an update left, so I can't play the game on internet.

But if I try starting the download it stops by 1,6%. Then it says retrying and than Error.

Always, I've tried it more than 5 times!

Hopes this problem will solved himself too, but i don't think so.

Should I do the same you have described in your first post and send it to the support or is there another solution?

I've already tried to close my firewall and my antivirus protection, but it dosen't help!

Try this from within Impulse:

-Click the Impulse Logo in the upper left
-Choose 'Preferences...'
-Click the 'Reset Data' button
-Close impulse and relaunch it. You may notice a long update time, which is normal as it is rebuilding the deleted info.

If this does not resolve the issue, I would suggest uninstalling Impulse, rebooting your PC, and then reinstalling from the latest installer build here:

If that doesn't help at all, then follow the first post and we'll get you sorted out through support(though keep in mind it's memorial day weekend, and you not get a response from support til Tuesday).
