Favor Item budget

I don't seem to understand favor items.  Some games I have access to the ones that I have paid for other games I do not.

It seems like I have accumlated enough points to afford all of the items at this point, but I only seem to have access to 4 or 6 items.  Some games I have 0 points and cant use favor items at all!!  what the hell is that?  This seems like a major thing thats broken, unless I just don't understand the mechanics.

I purchased the game online so I don't have a manual, but is there a trick to this, or something obvious that I'm missing?

It's bugged right now, if you want to see the manual open C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\bin its a pdf.

Copy your Documents\My Games\Demigod folder somewhere else when you wanna play online. Whenever you want to play Singleplayer/LAN and want to keep your favor points, replace it again :D

As others have said, the Favor system is broken at the moment. The good news is that it's fixed in the patch that is imminent. The most significant component of the new patch is the improvement in network connectivity, so even though Favor is fixed they're holding it up until they can get the network code working. It's believed to be coming this weekend.

Until then, don't worry about Favor items, many games online are turning them OFF because of the wild unpredictability while it's broken.
