Invalid user name and/or password...

Able to login after friends finished a game?!

Tonight I was getting ready to play some with my friends and managed to login and join said game.

However, sortly after I had alt tabbed to pick up our voip and the game had silently crashed on me. No pop ups, nothing.

For about the hour or so that they waited for me to join and evently played and finished the match I was unable to log back into the multi player.  "Invalid User name and/or password."  However as soon as the had finished and exited said match I was able to log back in.

Is it possilbe that Impulse/Demigod saw me a logged in and in game for the time?  During this time I had also managed to send out a email to Stardock support explaining my situation.  Perhaps this is also happening to others and they do not know it?

I'm experiencing this exact same issue right now, but without any VOIP or alt-tabbing involved.

 

I'm guessing "Invalid User name and/or password." just means "Account Already Logged In" ??  Guess I'll just wait for it to time out?

I've been getting this error for about the past half hour now ever since a crash.

Yeah, crashed about 30 minutes ago, unable to log in since then. Guessing theres a problem with thier authentication servers.

"1. Close Demigod if it is open

2. Launch Impulse

3. Click the Community Tab in Impulse, then Click the Games Tab (at the bottom) within the Community area.

4. Create a game (top right)

What this will do is launch demigod, with you automatically logged in hosting a game. You can then cancel your created game and you'll still be logged in and your login issues should be fixed. I was able to login/off fine normally after that."

Actually it works for me aswell, search the forum for posts before posting, was 3 the last day..
