Yeah she's an overlooked Demigod but very powerful...her speed is amazing...pounce and silence work well for stopping enemy's mid-ability

this is my favorite demi god by far pounce is very powerful i try to start with yettis on a larger map to kill creeps to get level 2 then pounce speed is prolly your next top concern even though her speed is upgradeable i still buy the boots till i can buy the journy man boots i dont rely on silence its a waste in my eyes. yes shes a support healer but i find getting heal i need to heal myself more than anyone and i also find that i get more kills than anyone it might just be me and the lay out I have for this girl but reguardless I make her into a machine and nothing stands in my way
Sounds like you play her more like a solo demi then a group demi. :/ Silence used right is both deadly and life saving. For example if I didn't have silence in an earlier match the TB could have gotten off the fireball and killed the rook on my team. It's hard to use but extremely rewarding when you do.
Really when playing sedna you want to mix both support and offense as best you can. Just healing won't always work, neither will just trying to kill everything yourself. A mix of the too is where she really shines as much like QoT, trying to kill her is much harder then trying to kill two of any other demi when she's built right. She's probably the only demi that can escape UB through pure runspeed.
I agree silence is a fantastic ability, but depending on what class/builds your opponent is doing it may not be worth upgrading past the first level. If my opponents are playing speed reg, but i have an UB on my team, id take a more support oriented sedna and probably pick up the minion buff skills. On the other hand if you are playing against a rook, silence/pounce can absolutely devastate.
Sedna can be very hard to displace, you can hold your own against a couple of demigods at a time if you are conservative, which can buy your team valuable time to reinforce. Late game Sedna with the bracelet of rage is total destruction as far as the eye can see.
She's actually pretty good. I've run her a few times, and if you completely ignore the minions and just focus on survivability and DPS she's crazy. Me and my friends played a few custom games, and one went with Sedna built like an assasin... worked out pretty well. She'd often get the last blow, and we'd love to have her around for the heals.
sedna is very often overlooked (because I think she is a bit hard to play.. ) but in the hands of a good player, she is very very good.
