Question of Favorite Items?

I understand that when you win matches and gain points you buy fav items and they stay linked to your account. Do you get these when playing in skirmish mode against the AI in singleplayer? Or is this just a multiplayer thing?

You have a seperate "pool" of points and items in single player and online play.
