Just as an FYI, if you see my images posted on page 2 of this thread or the image posted on page 1 of this thread (or, the images in the Downloads section of this site), you'll see that the Queen of Thorns has wrapped thorns making up a G-string and mini-bra ensemble.  This covers what's considered the "dirty parts" which by political correctness definition (don't read further if certain words offend you or make you cringe) are the ass hole, the vaginal area, and only the nipples of the breasts.

Also, the whole 'boobs hanging down to their knees' is based on several differentiating factors such as the woman being a mother who breast feeds, if the woman exercises then the fat content is lessened as well as the skin tightened, ect.   Natural works for several thousand people without the saggy side effects (just look at those European nudist colonies).

And lastly I'd like to express my opinion in agreement with those that feel it a bit queer that people can see nudity as being "shameful" and wrong, yet violence and killing that makes up 2/3rds of videogames is not at all bad.  This is pretty much confusing on a large scale as well as overall inane (no offense).

Not sure if mentioned, but majority of time QoT is inside her flower bud due to defensive stance. Only when attacking once in awhile I would open QoT up, and that's like... quite rare until later level. That passive mana regen and defense increase is very helpful.

Thank you for mocking someone who asked a simple question in a polite manner. I feel much safer knowing people who aren't fans of seeing semi-naked female characters in video games will be mocked by people like you.

Well in a modern society morals are all messed up.

You can see plenty of 12-15/Teen rated movies with plenty of sexuality and nudity in movies without anyone complaining.

You can't have any nudity or sexual content in a game rated for Teen or every parent complains.

Polls show that majority of people are ok with gore and murder but not with sex. Maybe human nature is rooted in destruction rather than creation.

QoT is depicted in a way so that she portrays a specific personality. In a way, it gives the viewer the ability to conceptualise a story about the character. The first thing the comes to mind is NOT ...Boobs... Vagina. Look beyond that. And if you have the ability to look beyond the exterior image (and put your morals aside), you might come to appreciate things more. In QoT's case, her story/personality.

When i look at her i think UNIQUE, SEDUCTIVE, MANIPULATIVE (maybe), and many other "adjectives" to describe the character. But if she wore leather boots, stockings, and a bra I'd think Ugly Prostitute with a vine. This just goes to show that what you see is very important when portraying a character.

All i can say is "Dont think of it sexually".

There is no real use in arguing either way for this hot topic. I'm disappointed the OP even brought it up and even more disappointed it became such a hot topic as expected. This isn't an issue that can be debated, most of us don't even know what we're talking about.

Humans are not born thinking nudity is wrong. Society instills that into them, but even then a grown adult can't explain to a child why it's wrong to be nude, why it's indecent to be naked even though every other living being is so. We're even born that way. Yet logic doesn't prevail and probably never will. It's something too strongly ingrained to the point where logic fights the social powerhouse, a battle that will never end, at least not for quite some time.

Thus in the end I would like to bring up a quick point: both sides are wrong in this case. Conflicts arise when one person steps out of their "bubble" to muddle in another person's "bubble". The best advice really is to "mind your own business". You have a life and should be busy enough with it that you shouldn't need to dictate another's. What do I mean about this? Well, it really doesn't matter whether or not any of us think nudity is right or wrong or if this is even considered nudity. The gentlemen and ladies who made Demigod are the ones who made this choice, and it was their right to do so. Hopefully none of us are arrogant enough to believe we have any right  to decide what they do, even if we are the customers. In they end they offer a product; the only real choices you have are in buying it or not.

Thus, the argument is moot. Right or wrong, it was Stardocks and GPG's choice to make. They made it, now your choice is down to what your reaction will be.

 To the gentlemen who is the OP - I'm sorry, you're not going to be ignoring Queen of Thorns. My humble suggestion to you is to move on to a different game. You really have no right to demand anything at all, your only power lays in buying the game or not. If you don't like nudity and consider QoT that, then moving on is probably a good idea. Much like an rts gamer who thinks Demigod is a watered down RTS and moves on, you'll have people who disagree with your thoughts but once again it's yours to make and react on.

Actualy it is our business. The op is simple trying to ruffle feathers. This OP is not about nudity at all, but a way to complain about game ratings. And if it is a private matter, whats it doing on a public forum.

If the OP was indeed TRUELY offended by the nudity, well lets face it,  he mine as well go turn the light on in his closet and hide for the rest of his life.

Now  on the same note poeple talking about artistic license, and companies dont have the right to tell an artists what to draw.... Come back to planet earth, those concept artists, WORKING FOR THE COMPANY. That would be like  some one hired to construct a house for a contruction company saying, No i dont like your blue prints they dont give me enough freedom, i think ill build the house this way, it expresses my feelings better. Wow, I'm amazed by some of the people in this topic.  Do you really not understand why some people wouldn't want to see the QoT?  It really has nothing to do with the idea of nudity itself, lol.  There's tasteful nudity, and then there's exploiting it.  Some people would be worried that the game would be exploiting her instead of using her design to show her personality.

Also, may I point out that the violence in this game is about as bad as paintball (relatively speaking).  In fact, the Demigods can't even die, they always come back, lol.  So in my opinion it doesn't really clash with the idea that some people wouldn't want to play this game if it had a 95% nude woman running around on the screen all the time (not that I'm saying there are, since you can't even really see her during the main game).

Now, if this was grand theft auto or mortal kombat, then you all would have a point and I would agree with you that it would be a double standard.

You can't really see her in game. I spent time wondering where the hot chick went during some of my skirmishes. She looks like a walking venus fly trap. Just know that when you choose sides for the pantheon you will be limiting yourself to 4 of the 8 demigods. I didn't feel this was made clear up front. I wish I had chosen light.

The OP is obviously in the minority (probably of 1).

Id suggest the devs have obviously got far more important things to do than catering for the (IMO ridiculus) views of 1 person, and besides Im sure theres far more people (including myself) who thinks her current model is quite good and wouldnt want a change.

So in short, if you dont like it, dont play the game. Dont come in here expecting the rest of the world to cater to your eccentricities.

Or it might just be that many of the people who, like the OP, have this kind of view, ended up avoiding the game when they saw the QoT, and because of that aren't likely to post here? I have several friends who had a similar opinion at first.  Not that I really think there was much of a chance of your side getting outnumbered in today's world

It doesn't really matter anyway, the OP was just asking about how visible the QoT was, and he has gotten his answer: that she isn't that visible in the main game.  Because of that, he'll be trying it out.  It is too bad that so many people had to flame him instead of giving him an answer.

I didn't really have a problem with your original post, although ironic and ignorant, and honestly pathetic. My real problem was with your first response.

People can tolerate breasts because there is nothing wrong with nudity. Nothing at all. You express your horror at the idea of everyone being naked, yet nudity has long been a symbol for a lack of shame. You have a lot of shame about human appearance, and mostly everyone does.

Personally, her nudity was a blip in my mind and then it passed. I played her once, decided I didnt like her playstyle thatwas it. If she was completely naked, the only thing that would make me uncomfortable about it is people like you judging the game out of their own insecurity. And to be clear, nudity isn't inherently sexual.

Your aversion is a sickness.
