Invalid Username and/or Password

I was playing a bunch of games yesterday, but today when I try to log on it says "You have entered an invalid username and/or password."  Two days ago I changed my impulse/stardock name to something else but I noticed it was still using my old name when I would play Demigod, even though I could log in under the new account name.  Today (many hours after what I just described) I cannot log in under either my actual impulse name nor the old one.  So I can't play!

I should probably add that I can log into impulse itself just fine and everything there appears to be in order.

If anyone else has the same problem, I was able to connect by using my impulse email address, though no combination of my different names will work anymore.

The servers seem to be happy at the moment, so if this is still happening now, please contact [email protected] to double check that your account is in order.

One thing to check is that your firewall has been properly configured to allow the Demigod executable to access the Internet. I had this problem and ImpulseReactor.log showed this entry: "CVP: Failed to get application information from the server. Please check your internet connection settings and firewall and allow port 80 and 443 (TCP and UDP)". I just added Demigod to the list of allowed applications for my firewall and was subsequently able to login to the Multiplayer feature. I didn't have to fiddle with TCP or UDP settings, although I probably could have, to restrict how the game actually connects.
