how to delete

when I look at a post it now inevitably shows up under my replies even though I did not reply, is there a way to delete or reset these posts. I have attempted to "delete cookies created by the forum" but it didn't seem to do anything/

ah yes, and I just realized that opening a post does not que it up in my replies. but then again, can the clutter be cleared if one chooses to do so?
