Odd, I'm using Vista x64 Ultimate (fully updated) and except for the slight problems the server load is causing, it works fine for me.

See the pinned topic. There are certain programs that can prevent Demigod from launching.

I saw the pinned topic. I disabled COMODO and I don't have anything even remotely common with logitech nor webcams. Maybe I have to do some research. The last option is that I re-install Debian and try to run it through wine or cedega :P.

WTF? I got desperate and removed dgdata zip file and application started. After that it crashed but now I got to see atleast the boot splash. I'm starting to think that there is something seriously wrong with this game. I was going to downgrade to 32bit OEM vista but I would lose 1,5gigs of ram and i would have to reinstall stuff worth of fewhundred gigs bu now I think that this really has nothing to do with me...

What directory was the game installed to? Make sure it was the (Program Files x86) and not the regular (Program Files) folder as that is the 64 bit installation folder.

I am running Vista Home Premium 64 and it is working fine other than the server issues. Do you have all service packs and updates installed?
