Archiving

OK  so I  dloaded sins 1.16 total game as i was really just after the update as im one of those guys that plays it on another pc with no net connection.

So it ends up installing the full game on this pc.not just dloadin an exe that i can copy over to get things running like every other game ive ever played and had to update.I then though ok! ill archive it ...then what? I need impulse on my game pc to install it but I need an internet connection...so thats not the way to go. what happens when you archive the game what can you do with the archive file.I then thought Id set it back up on this (work)pc I had to download the whole thing again? Thats weird ,the file is right there where impulse put it originally,but it still wanted to d/load the whole file again. there is no file assosiation with the d/loaded file apart from being a .impulse file. I love the game but this is just so much fuss not all of us are tech heads.Please make life easier for us.

Hi Hordboy,

You can install the .impulse file, if you have impulse installed on the machine, by clicking the circle icon in the top right of impulse and selecting restore archive. Its the second to the last option in the first column. I know its a pain to have to have impulse and internet connection installed on a game machine that is never played online.
