With IE8 and Impulse - in the Impulse "updates" section, it keeps hanging at "downloading Impulse Update - retrying 95.7%" and will never go further. I have closed and reopened but still the same. since it wont complete I can not get the update for WB> Any help?

You might try this:Disconnect from internet,open Impulse and then go to preferences(top left,blue orb or lightening bolt,whichever you have).Click on preferences and then on "Reset Data".Close Impulse,reconnect to Internet and then run Impulse.
I really hope they add the ability to disable Impulse's auto-updating in the future,if possible. I prefer to choose when to update things.
make sure and disable any anit-spyware (like Windows Defender) or anti-virus programs while you update.
Hum, I updates all my apps this morning with impulse and I have IE8, and all the security crap on. Ah, vista ultimate.
Same as WOM here, not prolbme with Impulse and IE8 on an XP Home SP3 32 bit system.
