You're Banned!: The Forum Game

Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it?

Banned for bending over.

Edit: Banned because the forum burps are getting bad again. Colicky servers are a drag.

Banned for colickyness. Banned for using a word nobody ever uses and I've never heard.

Banned for never knowing anyone who had horses or baby humans with tricky digestion.

Banned again because the servers were colicky. My G/I does betray me pretty often, but is behaving well lately.

Banned because colic in horses is not tricky, its lethal.

Banned because it's only potentially lethal in horses and grammar can only work so far--that "or" was not meant to connect the modifying clause to "horses."

Banned for modifying clauses

Banned because I much prefer the new consumer-culture version to the creepy old Saint Nicholas.

and although a lot of the modern details are pagan, it's originally based on a Greek Christian that lived in Asia Minor.

banned because it still doesn't mean what they think it means

Banned for being correct. Its the reason I no longer celebrate Christmas or Easter.

Banned because I celebrate both. Partly to get food and/or new video games, and partly because it gives me an excuse to put up a load of lights and potentially blow out the power.

Banned for rolling blackouts.

banned for that's how he rolls.

Banned because I haven't had a homemade cinnamon roll in ages and Scoutdog still owes us his mom's sausage & rice casserole recipe.

Banned for making me hungry.

Banned for wanting his mom's sausage.

Banned because it's pretty simple, actually. Unless I got part of it wrong. It's one of those recipes that has never been written down. Next time Mom makes it I'll pay more attention.

To make a pan's worth you need:

  • An onion
  • A green pepper
  • A pack of Bob Evans' Sausage Patties (twelve patties)
  • Two boxes of that kind of chicken noodle soup that comes with a big concentrated lump of seasoning.
  • Maybe two or so cups of rice.
  1. Dice and sautee the vegetables
  2. Cook the sausages in the same pan the vegetables were in (with them removed, of course). Get 'em nice and well done.
  3. Pour the rice in the pan, then put in the concentrated soup seasoning (breaking up any chunks)
  4. Add the vegetables and about two cups of hot water. Stir.
  5. Lay the sausages on top, covering the rice.
  6. Bake until it's at the consistency you want.

Banned for being clueless about the joke and ruining it for everyone else. Also banned for cooking vegetables and destroying their nutritional value. Raw is better. Nom.

Banned because that's something worth thinking about in the kitchen. Wonder how it might work with boxed chicken broth instead of a powdered soup...

Banned because I was actually answering GW Swicord. I was still writing when you and Wiz posted.

Banned because I answered you while you were answering me. Semi-recipes are my favorite, actually. My greatest weakness in the kitchen (aside from hating to clean up) is that I can almost never follow a recipe strictly, even the first time I try it.
