Really tempting J4, but no thanks. I prefer if the empires don't become geographically bound. Makes it kinda restrictive and xenophoic

I agree with the geo. bound, plus I'm part Irish...anyways, yeah wanna use my logo? or have something else in mind? I don't care about name? Emperor is fine by me.

I wrote before about how I would like if there were Lord of the Rings (not truly a LOTR fan but I read the books, saw the movies) empires could complement the references to LOTR in the game and Frog's own Arnor empire.

I am thinking of the empire name - "The White Council". This is the group of Wizards that Saruman and Gandalf were part of. It would fit the Empire persona which I am trying to create where there would not be many of us (invite only) but individually we are competent players (no need to be top scorers but perhaps at least challenging the higher levels). Small but powerful group of Wizards...

The empire would not overly concerned with domination of the Metaverse but you never know when one of us may become megalomaniac

More concerned to play the game well, have fun and contribute actively to the forum.

If you like the idea, you seem a lot more competent with graphics, maybe you can get us a nice icon which is reflective of our empire. I'm also scouring the net now to see if there is already a symbol or icon of the White Council in LOTR itself. If not, we could maybe go with a nice wizardy type of icon.

BTW, Pontius is lusting for your icon. You may want to gift it to them so that we could reduce those threats coming out of that empire

If 'White Council' is your idea, then all white should be the way to go. Very simple and people will immediately be able to identify us.

Problem is that we have a predominately light gray forum background. I don't think an all white rectangle is going to stand out. Any other suggestions?

It seems that the empire table is not refreshed yet for the empires with dormant players else we would be higher up in the rankings. It is a good start though

I did say that we would not be overly concerned with ranking but I have no problems if we did get to the top because we are just too good LOL

Well, this proves it! There should be a medal for "Most Recruiting Requests"!

So why did you end up as the Fellowship of the Ring as opposed to the White Council?

I think the White Council disbanded, so Ray started the Fellowship. You'd have to ask Ray what happened, it predates me.

I think the term "The White Council" sounded racist. They never intended it that way, but is was causing some confusion and I'm guessing they figured it was best to try something else.
