Crash Reporting?

Crashes are the worst thing that can happen during a game. Is there any way we (testers) can help resolve them? I just had a game that locked up, is there a log file I can send to someone or a crash dump? Nothing special was going on in the game that I know of, the whole thing just locked up.

hey did your freeze allow you to move your mouse? also did it keep repeating a sound like: BBBRrrrrrrrr?
