Random Wallpaper being overridden?

I recently purchased OD Ultimate (for my Win XP 32-bit OS) and imediately started to dig in.  I found a really neat Windows 7 theme.  Installed.  Awesome.  Next, I have a slew of high def wallpaper I want to use, so I went through all the settings to make sure that the newly installed theme didn't use its default background.  Then in Windows Blinds, I set the appropriate random wallpaper settings so that it changes every time I log in...

Now, when I first log in, I see that the background had changed as per my request.  But soon after everything loads, the last background I had designated in Windows Blinds had reappeared!  I logged off, then logged back in.  It logged in with a new background...  And then it reset with the original I had chosen from the start.

I thought it might have been the Stardock Theme Manager, so I uninstalled that to see if it conflicted.  Nope.  Still reverts back to my original selection.

Is there something I missed?  Is there something I'm doing wrong?  It's bad enough that Deskscapes don't work reliably in XP; I'd like to think that something as simple as a rotating background wouldn't be nearly as complicated.  I have all the latest Stardock programs installed, as well as a fully updated OS.  Any advice would be welcome.

I'm having the same problem, I use to have an older WB version (i think 6.1 or .2) but because my license had run out it hadn't been updated and everything was working, my wallpaper changed every morning at 00:00 (i tend not to switch my PC off)

About a week ago I decided to format my HD and start fresh, after installing impulse i decided to re-new my license with ObjectDock Ultimate, got everything set-up and set my random wallpaper like I've done before, but for some reason it won't change over at midnight like it use too (i think it may have done it once not sure).

but last 3 nights i've gone to work come back in the morning and its still showing the same wallpaper, I can't seem to work out whats causing it to not change :(

on xp = if you right click the desktop > arrange icons by > uncheck show the desktop icons - it can interfer with wallpaper changing

if you're using a skin with a translucent/transparent taskbar - is the new wall peeking under it with the old wall on top?

Well did a reboot and reset the wallpaper to change every hour and it seems to be changing now, going to let it go a few more times then try it again for the "every morning" setting and see how it goes.

Oh and i'm on Vista 64

Thanks for piping in your replies...  Thanks to Bichur's suggestion, I was able to track the problem down to a conflict with Fences.  For whatever reason, Fences is overriding the random wallpaper protocol.  When I have Fences completely disabled, everything switches perfectly.

So there you go.  There's a conflict with Fences and the ability to choose random wallpaper on Windows Blinds.  Thanks so much for that, Bichur.  I hope this will be fixed sometime in the near future.
