go to control panel-> apperance and personalization -> folder options -> click the "view" tab -> select "show hiden files" -> click apply -> then ok.

then go to C-> users -> (your user name) -> app data -> local -> ironclad games -> sins of a solar empire

Start up the game. Go to options, click on mod tab. There is a button that says Show path. Click on that it will tell you where your mod file is. Write it down. Then type it into explorer.
