Impuls Download Wrong Langwitsch (englisch not german)

HELP Pls!

Hello,

 

I have instalt impuls, buy sins,

And want to download the germen version of sins,

after registration i klick on Install,

than the program qwesten me Englisch? German? Franc? italy?

I choce German, but the game is in string and sound englisch.

I now ther is a german version (i thry the game)

I have try the download again 3 times but also all englisch.....

 

 

Pls fogot my bad englisch, and pls help me.

Only the boxed version who was distributed in Europa was with German ( French-Spanish ) translation... European version was more expensive that the English one but only the english one have upgrade in own language... main reason is that Stardock is not the European distributor... the European distributor have take our money but we have no support at all... hope that next time, Stardock will choose a better distributor...

 

But don't worry... Fan have made translation... And the German fan base is huge... so, go to https://www.sinsofasolarempire.de/component/option,com_remository/Itemid,93/func,select/id,5/ ... you will have the german translation for the 1.1x game, for Entrenchment and some mod like 7DS 1.3d...

 

About the mod 7DS, for the version 2.0 who will be released soon, a German, French and Spanish translation is planned... team are ready, just waiting the final release... the team who will make the German translation is from sinsofasolarempire.de ... i recommend your to register to these site... you will receive a great help in your own language ( German )...

When I had to re-install Sins for Entrenchment beta 3, I was offered a language selection before the download. If your serial # is registered, you should be able to download the German version. It sounds like you did that but it still gave you English, which suggests a bug in Impulse and you should email [email protected] about it.

Without serial, you cannot use impulse... the language selection is related to the "install" software, not the installation itself...

 

From the boxed version, French was not working directly... i was with "English.str", "German.str", "French.str", etc... for having the French working, i have need to rename the "French.str" to "English.str"... by the way, the boxed version have very bad traduction... the fan version are really better...

 

Since i use a lot of mod, now i use only the english version of the game because very few mod are translated... same problem with online game... French version have a other CRC, so only online game is possible between two French version... until the online community and more mod are translated, English is almost the only good choice...

There is no install software, though. And at first you couldn't select language, it just defaulted to English.

One more thing that i have miss in the original post... related to sound... i have never ear from sound file who was not in English... only the string file is/can be multi language...

 

Don't know if you remember it but when the 1.1 was out a few month ago, in the release info, it was wrote :

 

Please note that this update is ENGLISH ONLY.  The French and German versions are still undergoing testing and will be made available at a later date.

 

In a very short periode of time, we have know 1.10,1.11,1.12,1.13,1.14 ... once the serie 1.0x will become stable, i am sure that a final translation will be disponible... but again, the fan site are a better choice... translation are better, and early... German fan site have already a translation for entrenchment beta 3 !!!
