What does it mean when i try to use the multi-player on the main menu and it say i have the wrong version of Ironclad Online? and if i need to update it where could i get that update?
it means exactly what it says - you are not using the latest version of Sins - which is currently 1.13.
As per the manual, all patching is done via Impulse.
You download Impulse, register the game and it detects what files need updating to bring you up to the current version (it does a dynamic delta, so the first time you patch it might be huge as there are lots of changes, the second time may be really small as very few files actualyl changed).
ok thank you i didnt know if i needed to actually download something or if i was inputting a serial number wrong so ty for clarifying that to me
You will need to also make sure the appropriate ports are open. Though the fact that you get wrong version suggests that you might not have this issue. If the port was closed, I would expect something like "Disconnected from Ironclad Online" rather then being told you are on the wrong version (this would imply a successful version check has occured.
