Windowblinds cannot skin Program Manager outer window!!

Hello

I am using Windowblinds to try to skin the Program Manager which comes with Windows XP. My idea is to make Windows XP look like Windows 3.1. There is a Windows 3.1 skin available in the Windowblinds section of the site, and with it I can skin every Windows XP program but when I try to skin Program Manager, the outer window of the program is not skinned. Does anyone know how to fix this issue ? or is it normal being an old Windows shell ? ( maybe 16 bits - 32 bits mixed )

Thanks in advance for any help!

Explorer?

How old is the win 3.1 skin you found?  It may not be as compatable with the current WB build.

I believe progman.exe is still included with XP although I can't think of any reason to use it.......I don't think I'd be too concerned if it doesn't skin unless it's mainly for personal use.

Progman is an old 16 bit app.  WB will not skin those.

The Windows 3.1 skin is the Pixstudio one, I don“t think it is a matter of being old, as I applied newer skins and I found the same problem.

My only reason to use it is for customization. If I want a complete Windows 3.1 theme on XP I need Program Manager.

Program Manager in Xp is said to be a 32 bits application as it is the same used in Windows NT 3.51, but I think it is a special program. I wonder why the outer window is not skinned with Windowblinds while the inner windows of the program appear completely skinned. I tried applying visual styles ( mysstyles with shell.dll ) like the luna that comes with Windows XP and they  completely skin Program Manager, so there is some kind of difference between Windowblinds skins and Visual Styles ( the ones placed in Windows\Resources\Themes, in the way they skin programs.
