Sova missle batteries

I'm talking about the special ability of dropping down a missle battery.  When upgrading the ability, I couldn't see where anything changed.  The duration seemed to be the same, the attack ability seemed to be the same, the amount of mana necessary to drop down said missle battery seemed to be the same, and finally the cooldown seemed to be the same.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Yeah, it's the missile pod itself that gets stat upgrades, so its info card changes, not the ability's :P

Is there a way to see all of the info cards for all of the units within the game? If not, how do the stats change in this case?

Hmm, I really should get the up to date files at work.. but I don't think the battery changed so these are probably still accurate:

Level 1:

750 hull, 120 shields, 3 armor
143 damage/shot and 11 second cooldown so 13 DPS

Level 2:

1000 hull, 140 shields, 4 armor
171 damage/shot and 9.9 second cooldown so 17 DPS (rounded)

Level 3:

1250 hull, 160 shields, 5 armor
200.2 damage/shot and 8.8 second cooldown so 23 DPS (rounded)

thx annatar11...I had mistakenly assumed that it allowed for faster deployment of batteries...good to get the correct info

The Battery is also considered a frigate, so its also subject to shield/hull/armor/DPS upgrades provided by research, basically making it a hardier, but immobile LRF.

Good information!

They also seem to be fairly high on the target list for the AI so they soak up some damage that might have destroyed more expensive ships - namely the rest the fleet since the batteries only cost antimatter.
