Replays and movie programs

Note: Search ain't working for me, nor has google come up with anything.

Hey all,

I'm trying to avoid using fraps and other third-party recording programs as they eat up framerates and hd space. I was curious if anyone knew of a converter or a method of opening Sins replays in a program like Vegas or WMV. Vista id's the replay files as .record which ive never seen, or heard of.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can't do this :P The replay files aren't movies, but basically data for the game engine to re-create the simulation. Every time you watch a replay, it basically just re-plays the game. That's also why you can't rewind, or "seek" a spot like you can a movie :)
