Bugs found in Beta Version

Capital ship issue and loading issue

Hello,

I have come across some bugs in the beta of the game which i will list below.

1st) I have trained all but the last Capital fleet setting so (7) are trained. I currently have 10 capital ships but the game says I can train 3 more at the current setting, but it does not allow me to. So either 10 is the max for level 7 or its 10 with 3 not working. (I have not yet tried to traind lvl 8 yet)

2nd) When I load a saved game from the first run of the game it loads and plays fine. But if playing the game and I want to reload a saved file the game locks up and It give me some stupid errors. I got the following report from Vistas problem and report program on my system.

Hello,

Seems alot of my message never got into the post so here is the rest.

My capital fleet skill is fullt trained up and game says i have room for 5 more capital ships but I can not build them as i get the message no room for fleet. The game is also hase a lot of lag and i have lowered the graphice settings with no result.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit on a dual core 2.4 with 3gb ram and 2TB hard drive space and an Nvidia 8400gs 512 card.

Thats it for now.

Caps also require 50 supply in addition to the capship slot.

As for the lag, how many players/AI do you have in the game? Large fleets and lots of structures and planets tend to take a toll on the processor.

Hello,

I am playing single player just the first mission and with 1 ai plus the pirates, as I just bought it the other day. I have latest drivers for my system so i dont think that is the issue. As for Supply points I must have missed that in the manual I sometimes skim read.

As for the crashing it is doing it if i load a game while playing or as i just won the first game it locked up again when i tried to go to main menu, but i tried to quit as well and it crashed. I have 4 dumps for the error as i found where the game puts them, if you need them let me know.

Thanks for your quick reply and help.
Have a great day and weekend.

If you still have the minidump file, I'd suggest attaching the file to a brief email explanation to [email protected] so they can take a look at it.

Hello,

Ok I have sent them the mini dump files. They are rather large so I had to send 4 mails as 7mb per file was larger than i expected.

Have a great day

Just as a suggestion for sending emails with minidump files, ironclad prefers and is really happy if you send those files as a compressed file such as .zip you can use programs such as 7zip to do that for you.
