Help with ThemeManager installing Suites (Not Working?)

Hi,

I'm new to this so excuse me if this is a dumb question. I have downloaded a few suites and tried to install them through ThemeManager but nothing seems to be happening. When I click on download in FireFox, ThemeManager starts and loads the suite. I then click on the apply theme and nothing happens. It seems that something may be happening in the background, but I end up with nothing new. I have all the right programs installed as I have purchased Object Desktop Ultimate. I have tried to find solutions on these forums, but it looks likr the search facility isn't working. No matter what I put in for the search, I get no results.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Open up Theme Manager and click on Settings. Make sure the box is mark to use advanced options when appling suites. Hopefully that should get you going. Had the same problem when I first used Theme Manager.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I have already checked that box and am still having the same problems.

I've done a little more experimanting and when I tried to apply one of the suites supplied with ThemeManager (Aero MIdnight) it worked with no problems.

Hmm, what suite is giving you problems? Since you have the advanced box check you are then gettng a drop down window that should show you skins come with the suite. Are you making sure that boxes are checked there? I know, silly question.

What OS are you using, XP or Vista?

Sorry for not replying earlier, but I've got the program working now. Not quite sure what I did, but I'm sure the problem was probably between the chair and the monitor...

GlennHassert glad to see that you have Theme Manager working for you.

Oh and by the way, occasionally I have the same problem in that space between the chair and monitor.
