you will need do download the corresponding programs to use the various parts of the suite.

A suite is a Conglomeration of skins for specific applications, this suite in perticular requires ,windowblinds,ObjectDock,Iconpackager, Theme manager.

Theme manager applies the suite to the various programs:

Windowblinds Skins the windows interface.

Iconpackager changes the Icons.

Objectdock creates the dock seen at the bottom of the Preview screen shot.

There is a link to each item at the top right of each items library.

First do you have Window Blinds installed?  If you do then try changing the file extension from .zip to .wba, double left click it and it should self-install.

Do you have Windowblinds? Theme Manager? Maybe copy-paste your system info from that tab in Windowblinds Config?

See....the theme should have been unzipped and installed by WB...maybe you don't have the software?

it's a suite Angus, not a WB skin by itsel - changing to wba won't work

follow #1 - bear mind:

each part of a suite with the exception of wallpaper, needs a specific program installed in order to work - app not installed means that part won't apply

Theme Manager will use those programs to change each part of a suite - what it's doing is making changing various parts into a one click operation instead of applying each part one at a time

Could you please link me to that suite, as the poster external link is to a Screenshot and I was unable to find it doing a search of suites.  There are many Alienware screenshots however.

If your looking install an alienware suite and don't have the programs (WindowBlinds, IconPackager, etc.) take a look at this:

http://www.alienware.com/community/alienguise/theme-manager.aspx

It should give you a locked version of the programs mentioned which only allow you to apply the AlienUI themes via the Thememanager. It's perfect to get the Alienware theme you want for free without using dodgy copies. I used it alot some years back.

You can also use it if you have the applications already installed, but the installation might say it has failed because it didn't install its copies of WB, etc. No biggie should still work. Also some of Alienware's packages only work on XP (that's what the website says).

EDIT: the external link you posted leads to a screenshot and not a suite, so if that's what you downloaded, it's the worng thing. Not sure if you knew this or not...
