Can't download SoaSE patches via Impulse.

So, I just bought a retail copy of SoaSE today, installed it, decided to patch it up, installed Impulse, and tried to download the patch for it, problem is, the patch won't download at all. As in, when I try to download the update, it simply becomes stuck on the "processing: may take several minutes" stage and refuses to progress any futher. According to impulse's diagnostics, there should be zero connection problems, help please?

Are Impulse and SoaSE both installed in their default folders? What version of Windows are you running? Have you tried using the alternate (legacy) download method? Are you running any firewall on your machine? If so, have you added Impulse to it's exception list?

Both are installed in their default folders, I've tried both normal and legacy mode, I'm running Windows XP SP2, and I've added impulse to my firewall's exception lists.

Scratch that, it seems to be downloading no problem now, I tried resetting my router and modem and that seems to have done the trick.
