Starbase Activation

 GREAT JOB DEVS! 5* This beta is AMAZING. The mines are spectacular, starbases are amazing.

I haven't seen anything on this issueso sorry if this is useless information.  The main thing I wanted to point out is that the Starbases of all of the races will activiate (and move in the case of the vassari) after they make it past 17%.  It seems to only happen if there is an enemy in the engagment range while the starbase is being built.  The Vassari base is mobile as soon as it builds if there is an enemy anywhere in the grav. well.

Also the gauss ability for the Kol does not deliver the damage it gives.  For the first upgrade, instead of 550 it does 300, and istead of 800 for the final it does 550.  I haven't encountered this problem before.

Rail Gun is affected by shield mitigation, so at least 15% of damage is always lost.

Yeah but it takes off that much?  That just seems wierd.  Guess that I never noticed the damage changed that much.

The Advent starbase's meteriod abilites do not work.  They will show the graphic hit the target, but cause no damage.

The Vasari colony pod upgrades don't appear to function correctly either.  There is no change in the star base stats and credit income for the supporting planet does not change.

The income isn't part of the planet.  It shows up under your income separately, but it definitely shows up.  I've tested it.

Yea Sole Soul is right, its just where you look, but the Advent abilites def don't work.

From what I've seen the meteors do damage to shields but not hull at this point - not sure if this is intended or not.

Mass Disorientation however seems to work even better than the description and is incredibly powerful - I'm impressed.  Seeing all those enemy ships just spinning around without a clue is very cool and seriously messes up a fleets offensive and defensive abilities.  So many attacks and abilities need line of sight and its tough to get that when tumbling engines over bridge through space.  Add in the inability to move to reform the fleet and a full 25% firing rate decrease and that's the kind of defensive power a starbase should have.
