Cannot See Mouse in Game

I've just installed Sins of a Solar Empire, but when the game loads, I can't see my mouse. I can't even go to the menu to quit and reboot with no mouse! How can I fix this?

Installed the update but still cannot see any sort of cursor. As I go over things they light up, but there's nothing actually showing up. Please tell me there's something wrong and this isn't how to play the game.....

Update your video drivers. Old drivers (ATI in particular) are generally the cause of this issue.
