Cannot update via Impulse

WindowBlinds update error

For some reason I cannot update my WindowBlinds from 6.2 to 6.3 when it says an update is available.

I hit update, it starts to act like its downloading then comes back with:

"object reference not set to an instance of the object"

I figure ok uninstall to reinstall, same error message

I try the Mycolor install, same error message

I just updated my impulse program, its valid through next march so not expired in anyway.

Any ideas?

Servers been broke since yesterday... You won't be able to do much.. No downloading etc... No updates .. etc... There gonna try look at it on the 26th I hope...

The Stardock root database server had a hardware crash on Christmas eve. The DB admins are working on restoring it but some services will be affected including customer database updating, software updating and downloading and other services.  We do not currently have an ETA to solve due to limited personnel being available on Christmas eve / Christmas day but it should be rectified within the next 48 hours.

Yellowrules - could you capture your error log and send the log file to [email protected]? Have them forward it to Jeff. You can get at your error log via the "?" icon in the top right corner of Impulse. Thanks..

Same trouble here.

Stardock may just think that delivering their whole service EXCLUSIVLY with WWW correctly working is something that is ever open to crash ... and causes trouble to users.

At least one thing to be done should be to correct Impulse to be able to tell immediatly user that connectivity is impossible before testing and validating everything on user's PC ... >_>

Yeah it forced me to uninstall OD+ on my laptop and now there is no way to reinstall it hahaha

I was able to reconnect and reinstall ObjectDock Plus tonight, so thank you for whoever got things working again.  ;)
