I keep getting "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" when trying to download the 1.12 update. Using XP

I also am getting that error message. It happens for any desktop tool I try to download. This is on Vista Ultimate x64.

I've been receiving this error when trying to download Sins of a Solar Empire, I was beginning to think I had broke something! Does anyone have a link to more information regarding this?

This is annoying. I just bought Sins of a Solar Empire about half an hour ago, and I can't download it.

The Stardock root database server had a hardware crash on Christmas eve. The DB admins are working on restoring it but some services will be affected including customer database updating, software updating and downloading and other services. We do not currently have an ETA to solve due to limited personnel being available on Christmas eve / Christmas day but it should be rectified within the next 48 hours.

Note: All users who purchase anything between December 24 and the time this issue is rectified will be receiving a 33% off coupon on all future purchases as a token of appreciation for your patience.

I am getting the same. I am trying to download Bootskin Pro and also bought My Colors Sins of a Solar Empire Desktop. Hope it's resolved soon.
