Logon Studio Problem

Logon Studio doesn't display new logonscreens anymore

Hello everbody,

I'm using Logon Studio for XP and I can't load new logons anymore/or rather seem to be able to apply them (Logon Studio Document - so the file itself seems to ok) but they won't appear in the list of available logons. I recently had a similar problem with BootSkin, which I could solve (delete the vdstub driver file and reinstall) - is there a similar solution or what could be the reason? I un- and reinstalled Logon Studio, but it still doesn't work. Thank you for suggestions and I wish everyone a happy Christmastime!

Besure in user accounts that use the welcome screen and fast user switching is checked!

Thanks for your suggestion - both options are activated. The thing is, it used to work before, but doesn't anymore now...  :(

try running a command to restore dll files back to normal

run "sfc /scannow"  you will need your xp cd in the cd/rom drive.

Sounds like a corrupted dll file and it is has lost what it needs to load.

Too bad you do not have a good backup to restore from...

Thanks again. It wasn't a corrupted dll file, my zip-programm was the troublemaker (...), which I found out just by accident :annoyed:

Now I'm using 7Zip and it works just fine.
