Ignore does nothing?

I was in-game with a rather annoying player.

I typed /ignore name

and /ignore "name"

but I could still see his messages.

 

I would see little system messages that said Name is now ignored.  Or the like.  But in actuality it seems as though ignore does nothing.  The game then minidumped for the first time with the new patch.  I had gone over 40 games without any minidumps before that.

I wasn't aware that there was any ignore functionality in Sins.

Where did you find out about it???

/ignore works for ICO, but not ingame messages -- your confirmations were telling you that the person was being ignored in the ICO channels, which you are in fact still connected to while in games (that is how you can whisper people not in the game or send messages using /friend, etc..)

You can't /ignore people inside the actual game.

 

If I'm wrong about anything I just said, Annatar should correct me soonish.

Should be permanent for ICO ONLY.  You won't see my text in ICO.  You will still be able to see my typing in game, but you mostly ignore my advice already.  =)
