safety and security (online purchasing)

iam not in habit of purchasing anything online. one exception was upgrading my anti-virus. iam wondering if WB uses something similair to an SSL certificate.? i read about online hacking and such. and i really, truly  love WB..and must be reassured that purchasing WB, the transaction would be secured.

That is a very good question to ask and you should always be concerned about any online purchasing.  I haven't brought anytihing in a while from here but it seems to me that like most sites that you buy from there is a statement or link to another page that talks about your concerns when you are completing a purchase.

You can always send an email to [email protected] and ask them directly.

I've been here and subscribing for over four years now without any problems.

look at the url for the site first. you'll notice the actual site stardock uses for purchasing apps starts with "https". the "s" lets you know it's a secure site. if i see the "https" when buying merchandsise online, i feel safe since i'll know it's secure.

ah yes i went to the site where you would buy it and saw that it uses SSL. thx very much iwas and everyone else. makes me feel bit better. when trial is over, i shall buy wb as my christmas present lol
