Converted

not too big to admit it.

Well, as some of you I'm sure will know I've stuck with IE6 for quite some time on XP... Mainly because I know quite a few folks globally still use it and therefore I have felt compelled to keep skinning it, toolbar Icons mostly..

Anyway, with WC acting like a crazed maniac on IE6 and now the guic (WC template) site with no IE6 support at all I finally got fed up and downloaded Firefox3.

I'd had some bad experiences with it in earlier versions and had a definate bias. However, I started using it about 2 weeks ago and I am happy to admit that perhaps I should have switched a little earlier, so far it's been a better browser, nicely customizable and pretty fast using the latest release.

So yeah, there ya go, I finally caved and would now happily recommend it to anyone getting a bit sick of IE6 antics. For those final IE6 diehards, don't worry, I'll keep skinning it till it dies.

Still have an issue copy and pasting in a forum reply on WC though.. perhaps someone knows a fix for that?

k, back to work.

Menu paste & copy doesn't work in FF3, you have to use ctrl+c and ctrl+v.

I can right click copy, but not right click paste - in Firefox -keep getting a message that copy/cut/paste not available in Mozilla and firefox, would you like more information on this?

eh

ctrl+v works

There is a fix which you can navigate to when the small "FF3 has no cot and paste" screen opens===> learn more brings you to the website (mozilla) with the fix, step by step.

I dunno what you guys did, but I just copied and paste'd. No issues. Of course, I tried that a few hours ago, and it wouldn't go. that is just weird.
