Hmmm.... I've been doing this for 10 years now, and I have never heard of TopThemesXP..... can you tell us what it is exactly? B[]

Oh.... I just checked it out..... I think you would be better with WindowBlinds as you can only do limited things with that program, like change the colour of window frames etc. Very limited, not worth paying for and the trial version lasts 15 days. B[]

Hi Boxxi,

:omg: I ordered a product called "TopThemesXP" in the past & now have to purchase "WindowBlinds" simply to do now what I was able to do in the past,  why?

 Also, I am told...... Lookup Failed
Unfortunately, we could not find your information in our records.

After I input it correctly, which I also ask why?

Talk about greed, etc.

TopThemesXP was created by one company (which appears to be out of business).

Windowblinds is created by another company (Stardock) which is still in business.

There is no greed here . . just business.

Windowblinds is a great application and well worth the cost

I own topthemes xp. It sux. I never use it, in fact, I never installed it after my last reformat. It will let you create your own themes....much easier than SKS. But it only skins a very few parts of the gui. I also own Hyperdesk themes, including the new Flagship, which is nice. But nothing compares to Windowblinds.  I am currently experimenting with Aston2 Panels, which has potential.     O:)

I knew they screwed up when they gave us the power to go back and edit with no time constraints....lol.  I got Wizard1956 real good with that when they first did it.

I agree, I just collect free things. I bought the first few out of curiousity. I hardly ever use Hyperdesk...lol. I try everything to do with customization. I only use windowblinds, and occaisionally winstep extreme, because there are themes that match windowblinds. Aston don't do it for me either. I don't like anything that makes me log off to apply. I like Talisman, but never got good at making my own. Style XP was not much better than just msstyles. In short, You just can't beat windowblinds. I just can't wait till they make it easy enough to make your own so that I can do it.  I tried once. It was awful. I never got past the taskbar.   >_>
