new to OD - Q: can i get titles on my icons?

so i have just started playing around with objectdock and it's pretty cool...

but i am having trouble with one thing... i often have several different word docs and wordpad docs and folders open at any given time... and i can just glance at my windows taskbar ... see the title and click on teh one i want to pop to...

 

but as far as i can tell, even when i tell OD to put open applications on the dock... and tell it to not group them together... it still only uses a generic icon for them... a generic folder icon for all my folders... which means i have no way of quickly identifying which folder is which... i have to mouse over them to find out.... is there a way to get the titles to display over or above the icon or something?

 

does anyone else have this issue?

No, only by mousing over them.

Not an issue, this is normal functioning.

Try this, open OD config window/Size & Appearance/at the very bottom "entry names" select "show below each entry" and see if that adds the text names under each.. I do not use the Systray feature so I am unsure, but this may help you with it.
