Double-height task bars and "missing" icons.

Hi all,

I use a double-heigt task bar and place all my most often used programs in the Quick Launch toolbar.  The trouble I have is that only the original Vista skin and StealthOS will actually show two rows of quick launch icons in double-height mode, while the icons appear to be too large with all the other skins I use and only a single row will display.

Is there a way to reduce the size of the icons slightly, so that they show in two rows on all my skins?
