immaterial girl

a mask over

madness an insolent

bitch

she rubs at the crotch of the world like an itch

(she’s something you’d fall into

much like a ditch

but that’s not

how it is

on tv)

in ‘more like the

movies’ she swoons at your

gaze

and pale ‘neath mystical moonlight she sways

(she does sticky stuff so she’s

stuck and she stays

but re-runs

never did

much for me)

Kiddo, maybe growing up on a diet of Cobain's ramblings has made this make perfect sense to me... dunno.

One day you'll have to post the driectors cut, with your commentary.

Fabulous, we can start a jazz band. Dibs on clarinet

If you play as bad as Woody Allen, you will so not being playing clarinet.

And what's all this about moving to mars. I'm thinking of extraditing myself to brazil, but that place has flora and fauna and an atmosphere...oh yeah, and cheap cocaine/alcohol. Last time I checked Mars has none of the above. AND if anyone wants to move to Brazil with me they would have to agree to drastic plastic surgery and a lifestyle of unprecedented corruption and excess. Work is entirely out of the question. And so is a legitimate identity. I don't want to be found, or at least if i am found i don't want to be found under my own name...the shame would kill my mother.

Ciao,

Marco

hey- Woody taught me everything i know. I know where the register key is and everything.

mars wasn't my first choice either, but you gotta stick to the question. I'm going to mexico,it's much closer and Brazil has nothing Mexico doesn't. Plus Mexico has donkeys, men in big hats and tequila. And possibly Woody Allen. Besides, my life is already one of corruption and excess, I see no need for further effort.

also, I can barely speak Spanish...nevermind portuguese.

Adios, Marco if that is in fact your real name.

Are you kidding me. We have the piranha, Rio de Janeiro ( a city that is a mixture of both the Garden of Eden and Hell, unbearably beautiful because of it) and a spirit distilled from sugar cane that is sure to power the motor vehicles of the future.

PLUS, the Brazilians believe in music and poetry as possessing a karmic exchange value. It's used as a kind of currency. Maybe the Mexicans do to, but it is far too close to America for my liking and the two peoples seem to dislike one another. I could not rule out the possibility of open warfare, or God forbid, a Day After Tomorrow type scenario where every gringo floods over the border trying to escape the consequences of their own actions.

Besides I will comfort myself in the knowledge that HST spent time in Rio drinking it up, pen in hand, watching people die.

I can see I touched a sore spot

No. Just a soft spot, there's an almost imperceptible difference between the two.

and how did you know about the fence I built around me?

mig, I love the fact that this is an actual rhyming poem, in addition to being your usual interesting stuff.

and how did you know about the fence I built around me?

it's so big that it's visible from space, marco. like the great wall of china.

g, i love your comments. maybe one day we'll get the expanded version !.

I didn't know that..I must be dense. I suck. But still he should've told me. Mind you it does explain a lot.

And my fences Are higher. i'm not proud of it but I'm in the competitive spirit now so to speak. shall we have a contest?

How are you this morning anyway Vanessa? (or whatever time it is with you?, Friday perhaps? hehe)

dyl, to this day marco stuns me with HUGE chunks of information that i had no clue about despite knowing him for so long. don't feel bad. it's only his respect for you that makes him prickly like that. (he's impossible when he likes people, but consider yourself privileged anyway ).

sadly, i'm sure he would be up for that, dyl ...
