How do I get a refund?

Since I renewed my subscription in August I haven't been able to update my WindowsBlinds because Impulse just won't do it. The version of WindowsBlinds I have at the moment is from July, Impulse keeps telling me there's a new update but won't download it.

Is there another way to update WB without having to use Impules?

If not I need to know how to get my money back because I'm not getting what I paid for!

You can still use Stardock Central. You may want to contact [email protected] and get help with Impulse. They should be able to help you get it working correctly.

Absolutely right, Lantec. In all the time this has been going on Terry H, have you talked with SD support or opened a ticket? Have you brought it up in pm with a mod or a person with experience here?

Lantec is absolutely correct: Open a ticket with SD support. When I had the slightest question or problem I asked the folks there and invariably received prompt, courteous and highly effective help.

Please avail yourself of the great folks at SD support. You won't be disappointed.

Based on the decent number of forum posts relating to this & similar issues with impulse, it would be nice for an update to impulse to be rolled out to fix some of the bugs and maybe also include a button to submit and helpdesk ticket directly to stardock support so that the user doesn't have to submit a forum post here.  It can be frustrating for the end user not to be able to get a product working and have to search for support on the website here and on other forums.  Yes it may be easy for some users to go about doing this but we can't assume everyone's skillset is at the same level and as such the assumption should be made to make the product easy to work with and to include an easy way to get assistance if it's needed.

A big "HELP" button would be nice, dress it up in a cool gui way so that it's cool but make it in plain sight.

Just my 0.02 cents

I've never had any trouble with Impulse at all, but this seems like an excellent idea.

Every time I sent an email to Stardock it bounces right back with an "over quota" reply. That's why I gave up and came here!

I don't know if you know this, but you can download your programs from the settings window here on Wincustomize, on the homepage next your name there is a link called settings, click on it, then click the link that says registrations, and you can download your purchases.  Without impulse, or SDC... but I believe you need one of the programs for Object Destkop, but windowblinds by itself, you can. (not that this helps you, but hope it helps someone)

you can request an e-mail be sent from subscriber services - available on the Stardock web page, listing all the apps you have paid for and download links will be in the return e-mail for the .exe's;I had to do this last month following a necessary reformatting due to Nero 8 as Stardock Central was acting all sorts of bogus after downloading from the Stardock web page link and I knew from the Forums not to go anywhere near Impulse....now have all my Stardock app .exe's backed up if ever the occassion for a reinstall should ever recurr....

Thanks I'll look at that.

I have never seen that before. Is it a mailserver type response?

Which email are you sending to?
