[BUG] Environment (AA, Water)

Anti Aliasing does not apply to the environment (the plateau) I had it set to 8x.

Also at the left and right sides of the channels, the water flashes rapidly, and is not congruent to the rest of the water (which renders normally)

Specs:

Vista x64

DX10

ATi 4870x2

Catalyst version 8.9

I have the exact same problem with the exact same setup. Just at the edge of the waterfall texture, the 1 pixel line flashes.

I will try to get a directx report up somewhere, but might be a while cause my monitor broke.

There has always been a problem with ATI cards and water rendering with SupCom Engine. There's never been official word on this.

In SupCom if you enable AA with ATI cards of any generation, the coasts where land touches water would radiate a light bloomed edge.

I hope they fix this.

I didn't know this until I swapped out my GeForce 8800 GTS with an ATI HD4850

SupCom works fine on my system, I don't see any light bloomed edges. (8xAA, I also tested 4x)

That's weird. I heard people saying the same on SupCom technical support forum.

What graphics card are you using? I wonder if there's something else causing this like ATI's catalyst A.I. control.

EDIT:

I have to apologise to the op however since it seems what I said is irrelevent to what the OP has posted.

Here is a screenshot by the way

I was using FA though.

I am not getting the Demigod water flashing effect you mentioned though on the same settings.
