Back to toot My Own Horn...

just a little louder this time.

Well I've passed 20.000 downloads... 20. 059 last I looked, and still counting.  It mightn't compare with some of the milestones reached around here, but a few months back I'd never have thunk it...TWENTY GRAND, no less.

So many thanks to all who downloaded my stuff and pushed the count a tad beyond 1/5th of 100,000. :) |-)

Hey, Sir Starkers, I think you & I could be considered off topic, but joking aside, i just wandered if you still have any Westcountry accent left or have you now got an Australian twang, folks that I know who that have lived in Oz for any length of time come back with quite an Australian accent. Believe it or not, a lot of Westcountry still speak like we have been doing, including me, although we talk "posh" when we write. To get back on topic, well done fer all them ther d'loads, proper job.

Funny thing you ask, my mother has just come back from Devon and brought the bloke she is going to remarry with her. He was  was born in Cornwall, still has the broad West Country accent and made the comment that while I have some Australianisms, I still have the Devonshire accent, though not quite as strong as he remembered.  My father and I used to work with him (Dave) as Sub-contract plasterers before we moved to Oz.

As fer tha Pirate-speak, I don't 'ave ter try very 'ard at all t' git it flowin' b'tween me kissers... tha West Country accent lends itself purrfekt like, don' it.

And again, thanks for the congrats. :)
