Orright, Who Dropped The Pin????

Yeah, I was just looking around the forums and started thinking how very, very quiet it was in here, so quiet, in fact, one could hear a pin drop......and sure enough, one did.  Now who did it, then buggered off????

Sorry about the image not showing up, folks... tried to edit but had problems with Image shack URL's not working...

Copy & pasting into your browser should take you to it...showing just me and one guest on WC forums

Hmmmm, it being quiet in the forums is a known issue.  I tell you it seems that Stardock staff tracks everything! :rofl:

Yes, and I don't have an issue with that... I love my peace and quiet.  What I take exception to is when it is so quiet that a dropping pin sounds like a crowbar being dropped down an elevator shaft.  Not only did it disturb my peace and quiet, it broke my concentration and I forgot what I was doing.

I can't say that was the most bothersome thing, tho, being forgetfulness and lack of concentration is common among us older folk. Nope, what pissed me off was that there was no warning and I wasn't wearing my ear-muffs.

Now there was only myself and a guest in here when it hit bottom, and the guest wouldn't have had access to the pin tin, so who was it that shattered the silence and buggered off real quick like?  C'mon own up whoever it was, or (like my teacher at school used to say) everybody gets detention.

Na, there's been a good deal of effort on the site to get site related issues posted in the correct forum.

I was aware of some forum issue but I didn't know about images not showing up... must've missed that bit cos I was too busy fooling around in the' Nothing 'thread. Oh well, it's nothing to get my jocks in a knot over. ;P :P O:)

Exactly right, I'm not a flamin' lip reader... nor do I read minds more than 10, 000 kilometres away.... so being that you're in the UK, you need to TYPE something when in the forums, otherwise I have to rely on guesswork. Now yer wouldn't want me putting words in your mouth or taking you out of context, now would yer... so take the guesswork out of  it and git ta TYPING more often.

Oh, and Thugs me old mate,  come join us for a few giggles in the "ED Sufferers Unite", "Thread About Nothing" and "Tinfoil Hat theory" threads... there are others, but those three come to mind for a bit of fun. :P

I thought it was quiet in here the other night, but this is riduculous... and yeah, I was suppopsedly signed in.

In the event you cant view the image... 'forum statistics' show just TWO guests online.  For some reason, I'm not here. 8C :O

Damn,  neither the image or its URL worked... and clicking 'edit' brings me back to thread's main page, so I can't fix it.

I saw Po' running out with a scrappy looking doll in his hand....and one of the pins had fallen out....so..I think you have your culprit.....

I've given up on trying to post images for the time being... and copy/paste isnt working in FF, but....

... according to WC 'forum statistics' there are currently 3 guests logged in, but no me (better check the hatched, matched and despatched in the morning paper to see if I'm still around)... no other members, either.

Hehe, now this is the second time I've visited WC and found I wasn't here.... sorta reminds me of those corny old movies: " ? Meets the Invisible Man"
