Feels silly to be playing the game and pointing out the same bugs over and over again.
When its done? 
I'm sure we'll see it soon enough. I'd rather have a solid new build with lots of new features and goodies to test out than one that just has a few minor changes.
I can’t wait to play the generals this is where the game will become ground breaking.
And more flags with cool powers.
In the October 2008 issue of the US/Canada edition of PC Gamer, editor Dan Stapleton plays a Demigod build where he has access to the 3 other demigods -- the generals. Since I got my "October" issue at mid-August (!), I suppose that Stapleton played that build before August.
It's too bad our paid [ 
] build has less content that the older build Stapleton got to play -- for free.
Of course ... PC Gamer & Dan Stapleton have a lot more business influence than us ordinary pawns (or is it peons?). I can understand why Stardock would want to court PC Gamer.
Read the article, on pages 22 to 24 : it really stimulates the curiosity to play the 3 generals. As a girl, I'm looking forward to "be" the Queen of Thorns.
My post is not a complaint. I'm simply taking notice that some fascinating content has been removed. But it's just Beta 1 : I can wait.
Im also waiting for an update, as the current version does not support unicode - which directly conflicts with my swedish windows and hence wont play..

i think generals have gone thruogh massive changes since then so... he played different Generals than what we'll get when we get 'em.
Massive changes ?! ... OK, then : if so, it's worth the wait.
The Queen of Thorns looked cool (or hot, if you prefer) in the PC Gamer preview : but now that She has been massively changed... 
Massive changes my hope here on the Queen of thorn is the art work has less weeds lol. She alone will sell 100,000 copies LMAO.
Remove the weeds and put roses or something lol. Little rose pasties.
no chance of getting some official date or length of time or at least tell us that there will or wont be updates before beta 2?

That's what the CEO of Stardock states on another thread, since it is merely a beta 1 ... but I've had only fun with that beta -- once I figured how to play.
But the fun part is somewhat cut short when one or two of my A.I. allies decide to become AFK in our "base", and the game becomes a 1 v 3.
I you read the journal post on the main page they mention beta 1 a with stats screen at completion and new general in ~1week.
A new demigod should be fun, however it doesn't say anything about it being a general and I noticed the crappy word 'potentially' stuck into that sentence. 
Given that the Unclean Beast's model, textures, and animations were included in the build we got, I'm thinking that's a good bit of speculation there.
Well a lot of it is also because htey are still making major changes to how Generals play, while Assassins they aren't.
