Did I miss something?

Beta 1.09v2????

I downloaded the beta on my gaming rig today (previously was using laptop to play beta).

While archiving, it froze. I exited Impulse, and started it back up. This time, it didn't show the 'archiving' status.

After downloading it, I ran the game (in admin mode).

The bottom right corner of the main menu screen says 1.09.

In game, the 'buy resources' thing in the upper right wasn't loaded properly. The metal and crystal pictures weren't showing up, but you could still click the buttons.

When I teched up to build carriers, I noticed they only cost 8 fleet cap, and carry 1 squad.

Very strange. Either there was a revised version of the beta, with the carriers back to normal, or my game didn't patch properly. :S

Looks like it didn't patch properly. Also, you can just hit the printscreen key and paste it into MS paint.

before it used to show 'saved screenshot blablabla' on the screen, but it doesn't anymore.

Are you running Vista? Might need to re-bind the key because Vista doesn't always like print screen apparently. But it could also be because your patching got messed up :P

srry 4 double post, just had to say:

So I updated to 1.095, and yet again, it didn't patch properly. Maybe its because I had 2 different versions of the game in the same hdd partrition (1.05 and 1.09) :S

I could not get the 2 versions to run properly. Every time I run one, it'd reset the user.settings file and it also messed up all the short-cuts I had. Do you have yours installed on the same drive? I have both in the same folder. :S

Well if it's in the same folder that might be your issue :P Mine are on the same drive, but different folders.

Its for organization's sake.

C Drive - 80 gb OS partrition + important document

G Drive - 150gb Games partrition + Modding tools and setup

E Drive - 250gb I have no idea what to do with this one ^_^'

D Drive - 100gb A second OS which I rotate from server08x64 to ubuntu

F Drive -115gb No idea what to do with it

H Drive - 225gb Again, no idea what to do with it

Sub Folders of G drive: Games, Modding, Downloads, Programfiles

Games folder subfolders: Stardock Games, Halo, THQ, Stardock (impulse)

And so I have both versions inside the Stardock Games folder. I also like to rename everything, maybe that made impulse confused as to which one it should update. :S
