Is killing blow on units supposed to grant extra gold? I've been killing the stuck priests and seeing any extra gold for it.

I'm quite sure it does, as using an aoe to kill a lot of units at once seesmt o always give me more xp than if units took a bunch of kills.
But i don't think the difference is that big..
I should just try and test it out..

No, last hitting does not give you a significantly bonus. You'll get a few bonus bucks for kills and a little bit more for heros. But more important are your goldmines. It's not importang now, since the AI is really limited right now, but against real players this could be one of the bigger parts of the game: Fights about Portals / Mines etc.
Especially if the map has more opportunities to capture mines outside your base. That should make things a lot more interesting, and should show up in beta 2.
Makes the mobs a real mute point though. That doesn't make sense to me to make last hit and mob kills pointless.
They're not pointless, they're there for xp. XP is gained on a tactical level, gold on a strategic level, and I see no problem with that at all.
Do you get more xp for last hit? Thats something I think I've noticed or maybe it's just when I'm playing close attention it seems to go up faster.
Getting extra for last hitting is horrible because it makes your own minions and fellow heroes an enemy.
I think so, but it seems to be more based on damage dealt, so there's not that much of a last hitting problem.

I thought i mentioned a diffrence in getting xp. If i nuked all the creeps in may way it feels atleast as if i would get more xp. Maybe im wrong. But i know, that you get xp with just standing around + its shared with other Demigods at the same place.
And creeps get ~20 gold per kill. Tried to guess it correctly after each kill i made, but its not that exact due to the additional income from the mines etc. And since these creeps come in waves of ~8-12 creature (with archers) its quite effective to get the last hits on creeps. You just do it diffrent than in Dota. Here, just nuke the s*** out of the waves with a random AE-Skill, not just get the last hit with a single strike ![]()
Fits the theme more, you're a demigod, so hell, hit them like you mean it!
I gonna play a game right now to check how much gold each creep gives. The 20gold mentioned above is refered to the normal melee creeps. Catapults + Iron Golems will give more i think. A tower is worth a around 100, but im not 100% sure.
Well if thats true then the bugged priests don't give the correct amount of gold. And xp for dmg dealt seems silly, give the aoe auto attack of the rook too much.
I played a game right now with regulus, due to his skills i can make could some good tests on Xp, Hp and Gold of the creeps. Ill start a new thread about that right now ![]()
