Beta Test Report (Alianka)

Hi,

 

Fist, I would congratulate all the developpers' team for their work : this game is so exciting !

 

So, about technical issues for the moment (09/05/2008) :

 

- Sometimes, there is an issue with almost all shadows : they are briefly transformed as "low-poly shadows", for a couple of seconds.

- There is a bug with many items' icons in the right menu (as potions for example, which are transformed in black or red squares).

- The animation of The Rook sometimes seems to be bugged : one of the arms execute the same action, again and again, whereas there is no enemies, no buffs on him, or whatever.

 

 

But :

 

- The game seems to be pretty stable (especially for a beta version), whereas there are many enemies on the screen.

- The engine is (already) well optimized (unless you put the game with Q16 Antialiasing :p) : the game runs great at x4, at maximum details, in 1440/900.

 

My hardware configuration :

- C2D E6300 (@ 1.8 GHz)

- 2 Gb DDR2 Pc6400 (Corsair)

- GeForce 8800 GTS 320 Mo (Gygabite)

- Nvidia drivers : 177.83 (with PhysX included)

- 1440/900 @ 75 Hz

The game runs awesome smooth with Q16 Antialiasing.
Ok well, i have a Geforce 9800 GX2, but i think Geforce 8800 GTS should be able to handle it too.

My lowly 6800 runs it fine & beautiful at 1440 X 900, but I cut the shadows and the AA to keep the framerate fast & fluid.
