Any plans for an ME mod

I love the game mass effect and I was just htinking how great mss effect space battles could be.

 

Three factions

Systems Alliance they are the human faction

Council A large alliance of the three major alien Powers with a combined council fleet also if possible modding in the citadel as a planet would be sweet.

Geth/Reapers a large race of synthetic cyborg robots that overthrew there masters the quarians.

The reapers are an ancient race of machines that are like massive ships.

The pirates could be replaced by the batarians a race of 4 eyed pirates and mercs.

Essentialy the batarians could be the pirates with a differant name.

 

 

I feel the sins of a solar empire engine would be great to represent the mass effect universe but of course it would require the modder to have a good knowledge of mass effect and an idea of what its ships would look like because so far there wouldnt be enough info on the reapers to design a whole fleet right of the game info.

 

I know this is only an idea so plz dont shoot it down.

I love this idea, so much and it wouldn't be that hard to impliment (it wouldn't seem at least) just change the effects for ships bombardment and make it dropships or troop transports and elliminate the explosions on impact.

The only way to integrate the reapers would be to make them like Vasari Starbases, since they are more than a match for even the Destiny Asscension on their own, without batting a virtual eyelash.

It does sound like a fun idea, but we really only have designs for 1-2 ships for each faction, so we'd be making a lot up.  Still, I'd play it at least once if it was made, if this is a vote.

As to the above Idea, use the animation for the colonize ability.

but sovereign at least needs to be a capital ship so it can have the abilities like indocrination which can be tweaked from existing abilities.  Plus sovereign was moving around actively through the galaxy during the events of Mass Effect.  Just turn up the power on its hull and sheilds and make it extemely expensive and take up a lot of fleet space.

True, I'm just saying that to refrain from mucking up balance, it needs to be different from a cap ship, while still being a badass.

Also, who says you can't put indoctrination on a starbase?

(Although Indoctrination would have to dramatically reduce its victim's hull/weapons in order to be realistic, since ME Indoctrination is supposed to reduce one's ability in favor of being ind controlled.)

Well Sovereign fit the bill of a dreadnaught pretty well in ME1, it took a fleet of what appeared to be cruisers and one cap ship (the destiny ascension) to take it down while also going after all the geth ships.

all I know, is to get a good mass effect experience in this mod, the reapers should be capital ships in my opinion because they need to be able to move from planet to planet.

I'm working on pulling the galaxy maps from mass effect 1 and 2 and making sins maps out of them, maybe this will convence someone to start actually working on this... I want to play it haha.  But I'll be using distant stars so i can use the solar system planet types.
