properties > summary tab

set height to image default

set center to 21

your 23cosmic is taller than ntask42 so you basically got it stretch which is throwing off the font

your 'configure/move' buttons are too big and need a way to toggle on/off to get them out of the way

that's as far as I'm going with it - it caused DTX to crash 12 times

Thank u very much for the help. Means if I set height to image default, it won't throw text...
I made configure buttons just to configure.. Should I make them smaller?
I am shocked to know it caused your DX to crash.
Any other suggestion if u please...

smaller and cleaner pictures - Pegasus is too dark and non distinct

and having them set to always on top puts them right in the way of every thing else

you might also try making that background pic a little smaller - either same size as the layer below or slightly smaller and centered - makes it easier to line it up

If you learn a bit more about DX Builder you will find it's not so difficult to see how something's done. First, open the object navigator from the DX helper widget. Now sort the list by command. Scroll down until you find the taskbar object Quentin called tasks.

You will notice that it's graphic image is actually two image masks in one png file. The one on the left is gray(inactive) and the one the right is shiny blue(active). DX is smart and will treat these two images as separate for the inactive and active states. You also have to set the object width and it's position, check the summary tab in this object's properties to see how this is done.

Sometimes the only way to find an object in a dxtheme file is to use that object navigator. A very powerful tool, yes?

I hope this helps.
