German umlauts problem

Hi all,

first of all, please excuse my bad english.

I have here a rss-reader. If i want to display the threads from a german forum site the umlauts are not displayed.

How can i convert the charset so that the umlauts are displayed. The text is fetched per "http.responseText" in VBScript.

I have fixed this on my own now.

However, your claim that this is an unresponsive forum is incorrect.
I understand that you might be a native German, so you might be confused by this, but

You have started this thread in

which is essntially not related to any Stardock application at all. Also, people generally like specific post titles, and you would have done well by changing the title of this post from "German umlauts problem" to "How do I display German umlauts in my RSS reader?", which would make it more understandable too.
